FTO, or “Fluorine-doped Tin Oxide” glass type belongs to the TCO (transparent conducting oxide) glass category. It is basically a functional conductive glass product that is coated with a layer of transparent FTO conductive oxide film using either physical or chemical bonding process.

FTO (fluorine-doped tin oxide) glass is a transparent conductive metal oxide that can be used in the fabrication of transparent electrodes for thin film photovoltaics including organic photovoltaics, amorphous silicon, cadmium telluride, dye-sensitized solar cells, and hybrid perovskites.
