How to connect UPS & battery cabinets?

Ensure correct polarity. Connect the UPS and battery cabinets as per the drawing with specified cable. Connect the earth cable (PE) before connecting the other cables. Check the polarity of each shelf, making sure that the voltage is correct. Connect the shelves to one another. Check polarity of each cabinet at the fuse holder.

How to choose a UPS battery?

For medium and large UPS models with long backup times, the batteries provided also need to consider the load-bearing pressure of the floor (international standard: no more than 1,000 kg per square meter for office buildings and no more than 1,400 kg for industrial buildings).

How a ups room should be ventilated?

The losses of the UPS is dissipated as heat and the UPS room should have the ventilation arrangement to remove the heat to maintain the ambient temperature below 40°C.The ventilation can be in the form of cross ventilation of hot & cold air (using air exchangers-inlet & exhaust fans with suitable filters) or with air conditioner.

How to connect ups to a power supply?

Connect the mains supply PEN cable to the UPS Neutral connector (N). Ensure that the mains and load conductors are connected to the UPS as a clockwise (right hand) 3 phase system. Battery cabinets shall be installed alongside the UPS as per the drawing (note The Battery terminals are located on the right hand side of the UPS).
